日暮れ待つウォ－タ－プラザ秋暑し

２時頃に東ゲ－トから入場し、４時頃にウォ－タ－プラザに行きましたが、既に多くの人々が万博の花火やウォ－タ－ショ－などの開始を静かに待っているのに感心しました。

上記の俳句は、WEB検索の効果を期待して、葛飾北斎（1760-1849）の代表作「富嶽三十六景」にあやかって便宜的に「三十六景」と詠んだものです。
9月10日に撮った万博会場夜景の写真下記10枚と、10月7日に万博会場の夜景を26枚撮り、合計して三十六景にする予定ですが、実現するかどうかは天候次第なので当日の好天を祈るばかりです。

  (Note)

As to the pronunciation of「き」(ki), there are many homonyms such as「樹」(tree),「機」(opportunity),「器」(vessel),「期」(time),「季」(season),「気」(feeling), etc.

Therefore, I would be pleased if you consider the above haiku as a pun, taking the Meimuna opalifera as a metaphor.

The term “yorunoaki” （夜の秋）, which literally means "night autumn", is a late summer season word for expressing the climate when a night is cool like autumn, while day time is hot like summer.

　

The word “Hakuro” means the 15th of the 24 seasonal divisions of a year in the old lunar calendar, that is, September 7 in the Gregorian Calendar.

Haiku Day is  the 19^th of August, which was set up as a homonym of 8.19 in  Japanese. 

     

In the above translation, the subject “I” and its following verb “am” are omitted as in the Japanese haiku.

先日のNHK-Eテレの俳句番組（題：滝、選者：和田華凜）で、ゲスト藪崎次郎氏（美術家）の俳句に対する選者（「諷詠」主宰）の推敲句（写真参照）を見て、ふと「三段切れ」の問題などについてこのブログ記事を書く気になりました。

　　

　　

俳句は好き好きですが、俳句結社の主宰の俳句に対する拘りも様々です。

　　　　

下記の原句に対する選者の推敲・添削句について、貴方の好み、感想は如何ですか？

　　　

（原句）

足つけてああ生き返る滝の水

　　

（添削句）

滝の水に足つけて鳴呼（ああ）生き返る

　　

この俳句が作られた背景を知らないので適切なコメントが出来ませんが、作者は「滝の水」を体言止めにすることによって「滝の水」を称える俳句にしたのではないでしょか？

　　　

「滝の水」とは、温泉の観光地で「足湯」があるように、滝の名所の「滝の冷水」に足をつけて涼む「足水」に流れる水のことではないでしょうか？

　　　

　 　　

そうだとすれば、作者がありのままに感じたことを詠んだ原句の方が良いと思いませんか？

　

　　　

原句の「切れ」は、「上五」の後は弱くし、「中七」と「下五」の間を強くして読むことが出来ますが、三段切れに読んでも意味がわかり、臨場感があるこの句の場合は、「問題無し」と言えるのではないでしょうか？

　

選者は作者の意図を謙虚に考えて添削して欲しいものですが、このことは「プレバト　博多華丸氏の『梅雨の初運転』の俳句を考える」に於いても指摘した共通の問題です。

　

相手の考え方や立場を十分考えてから、批判やアドバイスする事の大切さは、俳界のみならす、家族関係や政界、教育界、国際関係などにも当てはまります。

　　

何事においても、見かけは大事ですが、本質的な中身こそ肝心でしょう。

　　　

くつろぐや滝の足水親子して

旅楽し滝の足水孫として
