俳句 365 haiku (115) 《山笑ふ Shiki》

   

故郷やどちらを見ても山笑ふ 

(furusato-ya dochira-o-mite-mo yama-warau)

my hometown

(Note)

The word “yamawarau” is a season word used in a haiku composed late in spring for expressing a fine scenery of relatively low mountain which is covered with fresh leaves and buds of various trees and which looks like smiling faces of people.
