The term “tanbaji” in this haiku means “Tanbajikaisoku” (丹波路快速), which is operated by West Japan Railway Company.
The term “shirota” (代田)means a rice field filled with water for preparing rice planting.
These pictures show some of the sceneries that Kunpūshi (L.P. Lovee) saw through windows of a Tanbajikaisoku.
