広島のこの原爆慰霊碑の「過ちは繰返しませんから」の主語は、「私たち」でしょうから、世界の政治経済、文化スポーツ、宗教など、各界の指導者は一度は広島を訪ねて、この慰霊碑に祈りを捧げ、平和の誓いをして欲しいものです。
この慰霊碑は、ある意味で一種の踏み絵になるのではないでしょうか？

These pictures, which show a mantis attempting to catch a cicada, may remind you of the historical allusion “蟷螂窺蟬”.
Upon murmuring “Escape” by L.P. Lovee, the cicada safely flied away.

The first picture shows a cicada, which is protecting itself out of sight of L.P. Lovee, on the trunk of a peach tree on August 1, 2025. In the third picture, the cicada boastfully appeared for singing, as if for the sake of Lovee, on a branch of the same tree on the 5th of August.

大阪・関西万博で予約無しのパビリオンとして「人気No.1」との噂のあるイタリア館を見学する為に7月24日（木）に東ゲート11時入門の予約で入場しましたが、ウイ－クデイなので比較的スムーズに動くことが出来て、イタリア館のみならず、「雲の峰」や「花火」などのスマホ写真も撮り、まんぽ俳句を口遊みました。
冒頭の写真三枚は、読売新聞WEB版ニュースのイタリア館紹介記事の一部分の切り抜きを掲載させて頂きました。
四枚目の写真は、万博で撮った五枚目の写真に薫風士が遊び心で書き込みをしたものですが、このパビリオン(リトアニア館？ ラトビア館？)の壁の解説をしてくれた女性が俳句に興味を持ってくれたので掲載しました。
このスクリーンのような緑色の大きな壁は冷してあるので、字や絵を書いたり消したりして、結露の窓ガラスと同じ様に、落書きを楽しむことが出来ます。
「この記事の写真や拙句が万博紹介の一助になれば」との思いで書いていますが、「俳句HAIKU」の記事が、世界平和実現の一助にもなれば望外の喜びです。

炎天下イタリア館へ老の意地
屋上の苑を見下ろす雲の峰
雲の峰ゆるり変幻飽かず愛づ
雲の峰見てるつもりが見られてる
炎天下ブリキの花や屋上苑
風涼しベルギー館の水鏡

これらの写真は、WEB検索結果（パソコン画面の一部分）です。
上記拙句の「ブリキの花」は、イタリア館の屋上苑で見た大きな造形（素材はブリキの廃材か？）を「バラの花」と思って詠んだのですが、「蓮の花」の造形かも知れません。
いずれにせよ、残念ながら、裏付けの写真を撮り損ねました。
この写真は、上記の拙句「雲の峰ソフトクリームそっくりに」の裏付けですが、上記拙句「雲の峰ソフトクリームそっくりに」は、句友（俳号「古達磨」）の７月まんぽ俳句会投句「かき氷ならと眺める雲の峰」に共通する雲の峰の諷詠句で、共感される読者も多いと思います。
スマホ写真では表現しきれませんが、イタリア館の主催者と同じように、「利他の心」・「一隅を照す」という思いでこの記事を書いています。
万博に行けない方は、これらの写真をタップ拡大してご覧になり、疑似吟行をして頂けると幸いです。
花火の写真は、沢山掲載しても、「一見に如かず」です。
この三枚の写真は、東ゲートの出口へ向かう帰路の情景です。
今回は、USA館は見ないで、エジプト館なども見たいと思っていましたが、エジプト館は前日（23日）にナショナルデイの特別展が開催されたせいか、残念ながら休館中でした。
