広島忌平和の祈り弛みなく

広島のこの原爆慰霊碑の「過ちは繰返しませんから」の主語は、「私たち」でしょうから、世界の政治経済、文化スポーツ、宗教など、各界の指導者は一度は広島を訪ねて、この慰霊碑に祈りを捧げ、平和の誓いをして欲しいものです。

この慰霊碑は、ある意味で一種の踏み絵になるのではないでしょうか？

間一髪蟷螂逃れ蝉飛翔

a cicada escaped from

imminent attack by a mantis

These pictures, which show a mantis attempting to catch a cicada, may remind you of the historical allusion  “蟷螂窺蟬”.

Upon murmuring “Escape” by L.P. Lovee, the cicada safely flied away.

空蝉や命を繋ぎ蝉時雨

a cicada is singing;

The first picture shows a cicada, which is protecting itself out of sight of L.P. Lovee, on the trunk of a peach tree on August 1, 2025.  In the third picture, the cicada boastfully appeared for singing, as if for the sake of Lovee, on a branch of the same tree on the 5^th of August.
