俳句 365 haiku (128) 《粽 Bashō》

  　

粽結ふ片手にはさむ額髪

(chimaki-yū katate-ni-hasamu hitai-gami)

                                 　（芭蕉）

　　　

tying a chimaki,

while another hand tucking

hair hanging down the forehead

                                     (Lovee)

 　

(Note)

The word “chimaki” means a kind of rice-dumpling wrapped with a bamboo grass leaf.
