チュヌの俳句・夏（Haiku of Chunu・Summer)

愛犬の大舌だらり夕薄暑

Long tongue of my beloved dog

dangling in the heat of

early summer evening.

 

薄暑急愛犬遂にダウンせり

Too soon hot weather has come,

my beloved dog collapsed

at last.

 

黒南風の雨を厭はず犬散歩

My dog willing to walk

in spite of rain in south wind

before the rainy season.

 

犬小屋の日除けのゴーヤ伸び早し

Bines of balsam pear

grow fast

for sunshade of a doghouse.

 

節電の炎日続き犬喘ぐ

My dog pants

during a long spell of hot weather

in power-saving days.

 

遠雷や眠りし犬は耳ピクリ

Distant thunder,

a sleeping dog twitched

its ears.

 

雷間近猛りし犬のけたたまし

Upon thunderbolt close at hand,

my dog became furious

barking.
